separator Just completed installation of 10X16 Arizona Wave Metal Carport Kit with no other help (not recommended by mfr). It can be done, but I'm very much a do it yourself. Quality is excellent and free delivery was timely from Sheds for Less.
Don't underestimate footings size and volume ... about 66 bags of 60lb concrete mix, although I used a few heavy boulders to help anchor it. Instruction guide was excellent.
For self construction, recommend four or more medium size clamps to help hold pieces in place. I used DeWalt 12 inchers.
If I did it again, I'd rent or buy an 8 foot platform ladder ... attaching the top panels takes maximum reach, and I found using a cobalt drill but to get the holes started was a significant time saver.
Only problem I encounter was six aluminum connectors for the cross braces didn't fit three of the large pieces ... had to grind some metal off and use some WD-40 to make them fit. That wasn't too difficult, but surprising because everything else fit very precisely.
Love it, as do the curious neighbors, and with did fine in the first rain and windstorm.
