I just purchased this shed and placed it on a raised wooden base constructed of 2x4s and OSB set atop 6 deck pillars with concrete support blocks down the center line. The foundation building instructions were perfect and easy for a novice like me to construct. I got the square down to about 1/2" variance. As I've mentioned, I'm no expert but I try and enjoy the DIY process.
Not counting the wooden foundation, I assembled the shed in 2 days by myself (18 hrs) with some muscling here and there. Everything fit together nicely, however there were times that an extra hand would have helped immensely as the directions indicate. I am very pleased with this shed. It fits a ton of things and has some neat options such as the fold out windows and skylights. I have a solar trickle charger placed in the skylight area to keep my ATV batteries fresh. It came with about 10 shelves that eliminate having to place a space stealing standalone shelving system.
The directions were pretty simple and there are a lot of extra fasteners. No, I didn't miss anything, but there are a few places where I installed some washers after-the-fact where the directions didn't indicate they were needed.
I live in Western New York, and it poured rain 30 minutes after I finished storing my items in the shed. I checked the shed first thing in the morning and there aren't any leaks! I think this shed was a great investment, especially for the price and quality. I spent $400 less on a shed of similar size a few years ago, and that shed was very difficult to construct and not even half as rigid or secure.
