First, the good news. The shed kit arrived ahead of schedule and (for the most part) undamaged. We were also fortunate to have an experienced Fedex Freight delivery driver who was able to offload the shed kit and floor kit using the liftgate so we did not have to manually offload it. Now, the not-so-good news. The shed assembly instructions are some of the worst I have ever experienced. We received written instructions and a DVD, neither of which provided complete instructions. Also, some of the instructions were contradicting (at one point specifying nails and then referencing using screws) which created confusion. For the average home owner with limited building experience, like me, specific and thorough instructions are appreciated. I wasted a lot of time going back and forth between the written instructions and the DVD to determine what to do and how to do it. In summary, if you have limited building experience DO NOT expect the instructions to direct you through the process. I strongly urge Alpine Structures to completely revise their written and DVD instructions. I would give the shed components 4 stars (decent quality) but the instructions get 1 star which is why I have rated this overall with 3 stars.
