separator I think we may have been one of the first to purchase this product. I liked the idea of a simple swing and slide combination. However the ones that they sell at big box stores are typically cheap and look like they'll be tetanus traps in a few short years. The Lifetime company seems to put together some good quality high-grade metal sets so when I saw this model I wanted to be the one to try it out. We've only had it for about a week now but I will say a couple of things. It was pretty easy to put together. The two tools I used most were an Allen wrench and a speed wrench. The hardest part of the set up process was probably just having all the tools and nuts and bolts set out correctly. The directions said that it should take between two and three hours with three people. I did it in about 6 hours by myself. There's not really any part that requires two people in order to put the swing set together. Everything seems very sturdy and very strong yet none of the parts really appear to be dangerous. I substituted out the swings that came with the set and replace them with Little Tykes swings because we bought the set for two children under 3 years of age. The slide is kind of a difficult thing to put together but again it probably would've been easier if I had another pair of hands. My only complaint with the set up is just the options it offers for a child to get up to the slide. They are not very two-year-old friendly. But then again the age range for this particular product was between 3 and 10 years old. I will say that it is short enough that it's pretty easy just to lift your child up and place them at the top of the slide. But by and large I'm very happy and excited about the years of happiness that this product will bring to my kids.
