The Handcrafted Homestead 12x16 wood shed kit from Best Barns is a great choice for adding extra storage space to any backyard. You'll have plenty of storage space with the additional storage loft with functioning loft door! The fully functional loft door is located on the gable of the shed and measures 42" x 34". Built with taller people in mind, the Handcrafted Homestead shed provides plenty of headroom with its 7' high walls.(floor, shingles and windows pictured are not included) (previously sold as the Millcreek shed kit, this is the same shed reworked for better quality and marketing)

Optional Wood Floor

Floor not included;Add a wood floor kit to your shed to give it a finished look!

Designed specifically for your new storage building. Adding a wood floor provides a dry storage area and raises the building above the ground protecting it from damaging moisture. Included in the deluxe floor kit are 4x4 treated runners, 2x4 treated joists (spaced 16" on center), 3/4" Plywood flooring and nails. The extra 4x4 runners add additional support to the floor joists and allows you to build your shed directly on the ground or grass. The 4x4's raise the foundation above the ground for air flow that will eliminate moisture.

The material is not pre-cut and will require the customer to make simple straight cuts. The flooring package will be delivered before your shed by a local lumber dealer. They will call to make delivery arrangements and someone must be there to receive and sign.





Optional Windows with Shutters

Add optional windows to your new barn kit. Our 18"x27" windows are constructed of aluminum and come with decorative, pre-assembled shutters for either side. Comes with lockable frames and screens to keep burglars and pests out.

Our premium roof package includes everything you need to finish the roof on your new shed! Underlayment, drip edge, 25 year warranty shingles and even a ridge vent are all included. Choose 3 tab shingles in black, gray or brown colors to match your home or style. Getting our roof package delivered on site saves you time and work to buy and transport them locally. Plus, we make sure you get the exact amount you need without the hassle of calculating it on your own!
