Dakota 12x20 wood shed kit offers an excellent storage solution for
customers who want to match their shed to their home. This shed is ready
for vinyl siding of your choice; vinyl siding purchased locally, not
included. Get a great look that goes well in
any backyard setting and adds a gigantic new storage space! Extra high 7' 4" side walls provide lots of headroom and plenty of vertical storage. Pocket doors slide smoothly
(5' 5"W x 6' 6"T opening) to open and close and stay out of your way
unlike traditional swing open doors. Personalize your new storage shed
with windows, shutters, cupola, entrance ramp and a wood floor to give
the inside a professional look. (windows, cupola, ramp and wood floor pictured are optional / not included, add below!)

The EZup sheds and Best Barns sheds are both made by Reynolds Building
Systems at their state of the art factory in Northwest Pennsylvania.
Best Barns brand offers you added savings for just an extra 2 or 3 hours
of installation time. With a Best Barn you will get two deliveries; one
will be your shed kit and a second delivery will be the siding, roof
sheathing and loft (if included in the kit) which will be delivered
separately from your local home center. Home Depot will be the home
center we use if one is in your area. The customer will then follow the
simple instructions to make just straight cuts to prepare these items.
Best Barns shed brand makes it inexpensive and easy!
All required hardware: door hinges, latch, hurricane straps for trusses, nails, glue for gussets and
detailed instruction manual included. Paint, shingles and roof edge are provided by owner / not included.
Pocket Doors Included!
This
storage shed comes standard with a set of wood pocket doors. If swing
out doors will get in your way, this is the shed solution for you!
Pocket doors provide a smooth opening and keep the weather out when
closed and out of sight when open! Doors are structured with a
pre-primed wood siding installed over a solid 2x4 frame for superior
strength. We use an unfinished white pine trim for exterior design over
the siding. Door glides on a heavy duty aluminum track. A galvanized
door sill and latch to lock the doors are both included. The pocket
doors are shipped ready to install.
Door opening clearance: 5'-5" x 6'-6"
Optional Wood Floor
Floor not included; Add a wood floor kit to your shed to give it a finished look!
Designed
specifically for your new storage building. Adding a wood floor
provides a dry storage area and raises the building above the ground
protecting it from damaging moisture.
-Included in the standard floor kit
are 2x4 treated joists (spaced 16" on center), 5/8" OSB (oriented
strand board) flooring and nails. The standard flooring is best
installed over an existing foundation such as a concrete slab, blacktop
lot or gravel. Bricks or patio stones can also be used to level the 2x4
treated floor frame.
-Included in the deluxe floor kit are
4x4 treated runners, 2x4 treated joists (spaced 16" on center), 3/4"
Plywood flooring and nails. The extra 4x4 runners add additional support
to the floor joists and allows you to build your shed directly on the
ground or grass. The 4x4's raise the foundation above the ground for air
flow that will eliminate moisture.
The material is not pre-cut
and will require the customer to make simple straight cuts. The flooring
package will be delivered before your shed by a local lumber dealer.
They will call to make delivery arrangements and someone must be there
to receive and sign.
Optional Wood Ramp
Add an optional pre-cut treated wood ramp
to your new storage building. Our wood ramp will line up perfectly with
your floor kit. Having a ramp will make it easy to drive mowers in and
out.
Optional Entry Door
Add an
optional side entry door for easy access! Choose either a six panel or
nine window steel door. Both door styles include the aluminum threshold
and lock set. When selecting your door please choose which side you want
the hinges on so we send you the correct door. Door opens swinging toward the
inside of the storage building.
